Here are some curb-level photos from the always-wonderful May Day parade today. It was really cold, the boys wore hats and gloves and I even saw a snowflake or two. But the joy and energy of the parade goers couldn't be stifled! In some ways I thought what better way to brighten up a dreary day than with the May Day parade. We had fun, even if it was just sitting in the same place, motionless and silent, for an hour. The boys just soaked it in.
This year's theme was "Caws to Unite" and involved a gazillion folks dressed as various incarnations the crow (including neighbor crows Noel and Maura in the wagon).
