Little Lew is already turning into Big Lew. Born at 8lbs 3oz, left the hospital at 7lbs 10oz, four days later was up to 8lbs 6 oz and now, at just about 4 weeks he's 10 POUNDS! 10lbs, 22 inches long. Doing great! Doctor Orey said all his responses are normal and good, growth is right on track and he's cute. Good. Actually, I'm not sure she said he was cute, but she did compliment him about lots of things. Probably all developmental things, but I'm pretty sure she thought he was good looking...
Art asked to help wipe Lew's butt for diaper changes a couple times ("Wanna wipe his butt"), helped put the diaper on once ("Wanna do it myself"), and yesterday he poured warm water over Lewis during his bath to keep him warm. He has also burped him. Thanks, Art! He still calls Lewis "That Baby" or "Your Baby Brother" most of the time (he means my baby brother, but he's only two!) but once in a long while he'll call him Lewis. But who can blame him? Ben calls him "That Baby" quite often, and I've done it plenty myself. "Ben, will you hold this baby?" "Does that baby need a new diaper?" "Here, take this baby while I..."
Next check-up isn't until Lew's two months old. Art doesn't need to go back in until he's 3 years old! Everyone is growing up so fast.
