Quick! I have two hands!
The Easy Lewis honeymoon is over. He is spending less and less time laying down on his own. Wants to be held lots, so I rarely have two hands.
Ben's back at work. Things have been ok, except his first day back at work we had a gackoo (pacifier) emergency. We took naps at my mom's while our windows were being erplaced at home and all of a sudden Art's gackoos were missing. Ben saved teh day. Drove in from St. Paul to deliver new gackoos. So silly. Next day went without a hitch, except for the constant holding. Saw a neighbor outside and she was stunned. "Did you have baby!?!" That's a testament to how long a Minnesota winter is.
Sang Art his lullaby last night while Lewis cried his head off four feet away. He does not like being put down. Art was surprisingly not bothered. Went right to sleep after without complaining. I complained, though. Must put him down!!! He'll get over it. Art did.
I'm feeling good. Recovery is in good form. I'll be back to normal in a few weeks, for sure. I'm shrinking back to size, not as fast as I'd like, but I am shrinking.
Ben made French toast - must eat it and hold baby again. Bye for now!
