I walked into a sparkling clean home, thanks to Ben, and got to nurse the baby in the nice glider rocker and put on his first cloth diaper. My mom made us Art's favorite dinner, Chicken with Rice, and we all ate together and had chocolate ice cream for dessert. Art, of course, wanted more ice cream and even had the nerve to go to Ben and say, "I want some of Papa's ice cream!"
We saw our next door neighbor after dinner and she congratulated us. We told her about the crazy labor and racing down Park Ave at 60 miles an hour Friday morning. She said, "Yeah, I remember seeing one of you, I think it was Ben, hussling on Friday morning and then I didn't see anyone for a couple days. I told [my partner] that I thought they probably had the baby..."
So, baby still does not have a name. Actually, don't expect a name for maybe even a week or more. We've resigned to think about it just now and then and focus on being a family. We're a FAMILY! There's FOUR of us, now! Poor Carma. Even further down the ladder now...
